To me, this painting is hopeful in nature. It depicts a child nurturing a plant to life. It touches on the idea of nature vs. nurture and children being our future that we have to care for and nurture the caring aspects in them to bring on a brighter future. This painting also considers a child’s perspective - in a colourless world, a child will see its brightness. A perspective we could all take on more often if we’re to nurture a thriving world with nature.
